Custom Zinc Die Casting & Zamak Components
KEYU supplies custom zinc die cast components for smart locks, electronic hardware and decorative metal products. Our manufacturing review connects the part geometry, alloy, tooling, secondary operations and surface finish with your order requirements.
Request a drawing-based quotationMaterial selection
Zamak 3 and Zamak 5 are represented in our zinc alloy portfolio. Select the material against your drawing, functional loads and finishing requirements. If you need a recommendation, provide the assembly context and operating conditions so the material choice can be reviewed alongside the part design.
Design and tooling review
Tell us which faces remain visible after assembly, where the part contacts other components, and which holes or threads are critical. These details help guide the parting line, gate and ejector positions as well as any machining or polishing requirements. Share both the 3D model and dimensioned 2D drawing when available.
Secondary machining and assembly features
Depending on the drawing, a zinc component may need trimming, deburring, drilling, tapping, machining or polishing after casting. Identify thread standards, mating dimensions and assembly requirements before sample production so those operations can be included in the quotation and inspection plan.
Surface finishing requirements
Zinc parts in our portfolio include chrome-plated, PVD-coated and decorative gold-plated hardware. Specify the required color, texture, visible surfaces and test conditions instead of relying only on a finish name. For cosmetic parts, a physical reference or an approved sample helps align appearance expectations.

Procurement questions
Do you manufacture Zamak 3 and Zamak 5 parts?
Both materials are included in our component portfolio. Send the specified grade and drawing for a review of the part geometry, finish and production requirements.
Can the zinc parts be plated?
Our portfolio includes plated zinc hardware. Confirm the coating, color, visible surfaces and any required tests during the quotation stage; the finishing route is reviewed against the part and alloy.
What should I send for a zinc die casting quotation?
Send the 3D model, 2D drawing, required alloy, quantity and surface finish. Include critical dimensions, thread requirements, cosmetic references and any inspection or packaging specifications.
Start with your drawings and project requirements
For a useful quotation, include a 3D model and 2D drawing, required material and finish, order quantity, critical dimensions and your target schedule. Delivery depends on product complexity, tooling, sample approval and production requirements.
